Tip for how many wedding invitations to order:
Always order a few more invitations than the number of recipients on your list. There are always last minute people who pop up and there are those who may want an extra since your invitation, imprinted with an S. Belle-isle drawing, is a frame-able keepsake. To reorder extra invitations later means more shipping and handling costs
A good rule of thumb would be to order 10 extras for an order of 100 invitations.
Also, remember that you don't need to send an invitation for every member of a family. In most cases you will send the invitation to parents; noting children's names.
Tip for when to order wedding invitations:
Order wedding invitations 4 to 6 months in advance of the wedding when custom drawings are required. This allows for the drawing, printing, and shipping of your invitation order as well as mailing "save the date cards" to recipients, mailing your invitations, and receiving back your RSVP cards.
If you are printing a photo on your invitations, order about 3 to 5 months in advance.
